Privacy Policy

Everything stays on your phone. Spotter has no accounts, no server, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
What the app stores, and where
- Vehicle data (temperatures, speeds, and similar readings from your vehicle's OBD-II port) is recorded in a database on your device so the app can show history and trends. It is never transmitted anywhere.
- Your vehicle's VIN is read once to identify the vehicle and is stored only on your device. It never appears in logs and is never sent off the device.
- Settings (units, thresholds, speech preferences) are stored on your device.
Purchases
Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Spotter never sees your payment details. Purchases can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple account.
What we receive
Nothing, in normal use. If you email support, we receive what you choose to send.
This website
This site is static, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics or scripts.
Changes
If a future feature changes any of the above (for example, an optional over-the-air configuration update), this policy will say so plainly before that feature ships.
